The Williams City Farms Sowing Seeds and Growing Community
This city farm started as two overgrown empty lot and through a lot of hard work, it is developing into a fruitful garden. Our goals are to educate our youth, individuals, and families in how to grow and harvest their own food, in conjunction with providing produce to those who have limited access to fresh fruits and vegetables.
Since 2019, we have harvested and donated over 5,600 lbs. of produce to our local community.
The process of regaining control over ones health can be challenging but starting ones own garden empowers you to eat healthier as well as share your harvest. Start a garden in a container and / or in a open space and share your veggies with neighbors and those who live in a food desert.
Gardening provide so many physical, emotional and social benefits. Your body will thank you!
